Adding To Our Herd

Evidently, sleep is overrated when you could instead pick up a new horse.  Which is exactly how I spent last night… driving many hours to pick up this little filly.  She is a three year old OTTB with just four races on her card.  She was a lovely, quiet passenger and arrived in her new digs without batting an eye.

I pulled her out this morning to move her around and she was sensible and interested in everything… especially the ground poles, which she sought out.  A good sign for a jumping horse.  Looking forward to getting to know her and see what she excels at.  Stay tuned for more!

One white foot — buy him,
Two white feet — try him;
Three white feet — look well about him,
Four white feet — go without him. ~ Old Horse-Buying Prejudice
